Was just curious if you plan or if you could create an NS2 Organized Play forum. Currently we only have the NS Cup 6v6 thread, where we post all of our scrimming/videos and such information. Would be a lot better if we could have our own forum, to talk about competitive play, talk strategy. Post when there are scrims and how many spectators are allowed if any. Maybe have YouTube links to POVs you know, the good stuff. =)
We could sticky active clan threads and if people have questions or something they can ask directly to that team. I don't know just tossing ideas around, but would be cool to finally have a forum for competitive play.

The clans are kind of buried on these forums (mostly in the 6v6 thread) and having a separate section to organize and discuss would be helpful.

I thought aeroripper had the ability to do this? aero, stop slacking! ;)

It appears Scythe has the ability to complete this task (if approved by the big wigs).

Maybe UWE will start to care about you brave veterans two months after they release NS2 1.0 and begin to realize no one is playing it because they designed it to cater to the finicky scum of multiplayer video games that flourish on poor game mechanics and 'nostalgia' and aimlessly flock from game to game like birds in the wind.
Anyway, yeah the game is pretty horrible right now, both in terms of gameplay and performance. The first we can fix (hopefully, more or less), I'm just pining for the second (performance), cause that's whats going to be the deal-breaker for competitive-play.
Hopefully it will be more active than the NS2 E-team forums seems to be.
Still +1 to new forums for competitive play.
Yeah, the performance is the absolute deal-breaker.
The gameplay relation to competetive play is a bit of a mystery for me. Certainly you can have competetive community even in rather unfavorable gameplay structure (The recent CoD games come to mind first), but I'm not sure how it works on a community of this size - And I doubt anyone exactly knows how big of an actual community we are running even now.

A smooth game is expected. The quality of the gameplay will be the real deal breaker to determine if NS2's competitve scene will be just some small subdivision of people already playing NS2, or a large community that will remain for years.
