Damn I Need Some Serious Help

Whenever I try to play NS i connect to a server and when it says Initializing And Downloading the console goes up a bit and then I get the "Blue Screen Of Death"!!! Can anyone help me!?

    update your sound card and graphic card driver

    uninstall ns and reinstall it.

    make sure your sound card and vid card are updated. then make sure you're running in OpenGL mode, NOT D3D! if that still doesnt get it, i'd check for windows updates, then do a scandisk and defrag.

    scandisk should be done often and defrag should be done every few months. When/if you do those, It's suggested (required for defrag) that you close all other programs that can be closed.

    Defrag often takes a few hours+ depeding on how big your hard drive is. i'd suggest doing it right before you go to sleep or something.
