Yup, seems fair and well thought out to me. It still makes me red-in-the-face pissed off seeing all you guys in your cool black armor that I missed out on because I didn't even know NS2 was available yet. "We posted heads-up messages and word of mouth and blah blah blah" well it wasn't enough.
The SE was available for like a year. If you were that interested in NS2 you wouldn't of been able to not notice for that long.
Besides, the black armor is just a rubbish gimmick. The real reason you should of bought the SE was to support the devs.

Point being that :
Earliest of the early : get to help UWE, get cool black armor
Wander in near release : get the full finished game, and some yet-to-be-announced unlock
Beta testers that put up with all the bugs and make all the suggestions: We get ######.
I doubt they'll bring back another special edition. Just doesn't make sense.
if you think the beta is that bad, you would have killed yourself if you were in the alpha.

Agreed. If nothing else, they should offer any future "unlock" to anyone who already owns the game. I might consider paying additional to get the second unlock, but then we'd already be getting into micro-transactions :P
Now I run around in the "noob suit" and look like the dude who just baught the beta and has no experience at all.
It might be only a "cosmetic" but for many players
black armor stands for: game experience, active beta participarion, skill
green armor stands for: noob
And this is what bothers me and why I don't feel comfortable in that green suit.
On the final day of the offer I had to make the choice to either:
A) Get the bonus and miss my flight to a french college
B) Get to french college, miss bonus and loathe existence.
Alas, I regret choosing B immensely.

My point is, who cares about some stupid skin? afaik it doesnt help you in any way (not even hiding), and people will most likely concentrate on killing you, rather than what color you are.

No. You clearly don't understand. This is important to our well being. I don't understand how YOU don't understand. It will distinguish us, the superiors, from the lesser supporters. An extra twenty is a small price to maintain our pride. Why wouldn't you want the Black Armor over green? Black is clearly better than Green. And more colorful.
