I still need to get the other wing set up and then do some tweaking. After that I'll assign the verts and be good to go. BTW what do you think of the color?

since the runner is red the fade is black the onos is bright red, lets make teh lerk dark blue yah?

maybe the red from the runner, why not using same colors? The default gorges and the default skulk had the same colors too...

I have al aliens skins , sound packs etc...

Only the damn gorge and lerk arent yet somewhat alien related !

I WIL download this skin when it gets out.Btw , collor is good , maybe a little brighter , but its fine as it is

I like it. But lighten it up a shade, and make the head a bit longer, its stunted too much. Maybe make it long like the other aliens, but pointed, aerodynamic, like a pterodactyl's.

IMO the old Lerk is hard to beat, Probably the coolest model they made. But keep up the good work, I'm not a fan of Aliens like most people are, but im sure many people will appreciate your hard work. =D

very nice. just brighten it up as everyone said, and make the head more like the queen's so it looks like it was meant to fly.

we also need a gorge replacement, someone should do the facehugger since nothing else fits.

I am reskinning some things now, and it's all I can do, for now of course, but I hope to learn to convert soon. If only I could pay for Milkshape <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'>

Ok then the consensus seems to go with a blue color scheme and a fancier crested head so I'll work on that. The reason you guys think its so dark is because I havent skinned the wing membrane yet so it's black. In the final version it's prolly gonna be much lighter than the rest of the body.

Alright its coming along quite nice, I have a compile running and it animates nicely, unfortunately I forgot to double side the wing membrane so it only appears from above so I got to go back and fix that. After thinking about it something closer to the Queen Alien head would be better so if anyone can send me a file of the head it would be much appreciated. Anyway after I finish with all the modeling I'll prolly put up pictures of a few different color schemes and put it to a vote.

Ohh BTW Daphisto I figured out how to fix the problem with the "left over bits" from the older models that occasionally popped out during animations. If you want either the versions I made with the fixes done or just the method I used tell me.

don't you guys think you guys are going a little alien overboard

it was funny(For a little while) seeing an alien rhino

but an alien lerk... thats going a bit overboard

lol ...be funny if you guys alienize the gorge

The plain aliens are sooo unbelievably cool...making a winged alien + and a rhino alien ...would.. ...dare i say it...almost kill the aliens franchise...

im not looking for any flames....just my opinion.

Thats a fine point of view, in fact I use the regular alien models myself, its just that some people perfer a slightly more dark and evil alien menace which is simply a matter of taste.
