Need to know my cd-key

I got the 2 for 1 deal over christmas and activated both, but I need to know which cd key got activated to my account. Does anyone know a way to find out? I tried using the send cd-key by email thing but it sent both keys with no account name or anything attatched.

The send CD-key is for people that have lost their key somehow (e.g in the spam filter) and now want to get them again. Before they were activated they were not connected to the steam account in any way, so the database from which the keys in your e-mail come simply knows what keys were bought on which e-mail address.
But it has no idea which steam account your keys were activated on.

Why do you need to know that anyway if the activation worked on both accounts, i.e. both accounts can play?

Steam won't let you sign the same game up to a steam account with that game already being seen as owned. If you try one and it isn't the one you use, it should say "You already own this game."

Nope, that sounded like it would have worked but both keys give the same error message.

You have already one activated key, so whatever you are going to do with the other key - just give the person both keys. Only the not activated one will work.

The person cant do anything with your key, since one is already activated via steam.

No I activated both keys, I need to give the key that is not mine to UW. I wish it were that simple. I need to find my key to figure out which key is not mine to give to them.

Why do you have to return one key? Why cant you ask the person that has the other key activated?

For a refund you would have to return both keys - so it cant be that.
Partial refunds arent possible since you bought a special "pay one get two" and the sentence above.
Since both keys are activated in steam, there cant be a problem with the keys itself.

Since you dodge giving some details, it sounds like you wanna scam the other guy.

this just makes no sense, if you activated 2 keys, you have 2 steam accounts, so give the other steam account info to your buddy what do you need the cd-key for...

I was logged into the wrong steam account when I first went to activate it, but haven't cared cause I didn't know anyone who would want it. However, I do not want to give my 2nd steam account to the friend that I want to give the key to. So, I need to find which key is on my main account so UW can deactivate the key on my 2nd account. I don't know whats so hard to understand about this? I didn't think it was necessary to type everything out to ask people how to find my cd-key

Can't you just right click on "Natural Selection 2" in your Games Library and click "View CD Keys"? I'm not at home so can't see if NS2 has that option, but most other steam games do.

UWE can't do anything with your steam account, you need to ask steam if you want them to do weird stuff to your accounts. Although I'm pretty sure steam won't deactivate a key and give it back to you.

No it doesn't, the cd key thing is only for games that aren't built for steam and so need you to enter it when you play the game.
