DI graphics bug

<div class="IPBDescription">edges of skulk teeth become invisible</div>There is a slight visual anomaly that occurs when the visual overlays of the skulks teeth (could be other things too) are over any of the DI, a thin line around the periphery of the shape becomes black. This can be seen by being a skulk, going to a brightly lit hive, and then aiming up at the ceiling. As you move your view slowly down such that the teeth are overlayed atop where the DI is you can see the edges around the left tooth disappear and turn black. It almost looks like an edge enhancement effect but the teeth get thinner because the white edge disappears. You can move it back up and see the line at which the effect occurs, indicating exactly where the DI begins underneath. Texture related issue? Some sort of post processing? Spectral highlights of the view model being superseded by the DI decals? It is subtle and sometimes you have to move or aim a slightly different direction for the effect to pop. This occurred at the alien tram hive while looking at the wall just to the right side of the hive (as looking down the length of the room).

Here is a sequence, examine the left canine tooth to see the effect best. Notice the black line on the left sides of the tooth and the specular shine on the right side of it. As the view rotates up, and the canine moves past where the DI texture is on the wall, the black line disappears and the specular stuff comes back. In the third picture you can see the line where the black line turns back into tooth detail, its exactly where the DI texture is underneath and is also visible on the other teeth.

Hmm. I'm getting that on all models.

Try it in a low resolution and you can see it on eggs when you are gestating.
