Mappers and Twitter
Like the topic points out, I suggest that all mappers start using twitter to make small posts about map progress and if they update something to forums.
For example: ns2_plant, me and perso have our own twitter account for our map. We both use add-ons for our web browsers that notify if something is written at our twitter account and we follow natural selection 2 twitter as well. So the good point is that we know if anything new came up at least in 3-5 minutes.
So, If every mapper here made a twitter account and wrote some thoughts about mapping or if he/she had some questions about how to do something. Everyone who's following can post to mapper's own forum post and answer eg. in the following way:
"You posted in twitter that you got this and this problem 12.2.2011. I've got an idea, try this: ....."
What do you think?
Here is our twitter account <a href="http://twitter.com/plantdev" target="_blank">http://twitter.com/plantdev</a>
Hope you dear mappers are interested and let's create a nice mapping community. :)

I suppse I best follow ;)
Also Vara would be nice if you and your guys use IRC, come join #nsmapping on Gsurge. There's only a small bunch of us right now (and a LUA coder who I love) who have the odd chat now and then, but I'm sure if we had more like minded people in there we'd be full of constant banter and map ideas eventually.
(Too distracted by trying to build my game engine in C++ atm, but once I either upgrade or NS2 actually runs on my laptop I'm sure I'll want to join in the fun.)
I'M FOLLOWING YOU NOW MARC!
