Connecting issue

in NS2 General Discussion
Hello.
i Bought NS2 last week and when i try to connect to any server its write to me:
Authenticating...
and after a while its pops up a massage : Timeout.
(I can connect to lan servers)
how i can fix it?

    I tried almost every thing there and still i got that problem...

    I have the same problem too on this computer, as soon as i try to log in the server and the moment it says "Authenticating..." i press [Shift + Tab] then you'll notice it would change to say "Loading map..." etc etc and hopefully!, it will work.


    usually, itll let me pass. but if i dont shift + tab, forget about it....

    its his internet connection / router.
    he lives in israel and is using what sounds like a phone dial up service thats somehow behind a router? idk. im trying to help through emails. he needs to get access to his router regardless though.
