Veeery low performance

<div class="IPBDescription">Low performance on a win 7 machine</div>Hey guys, I've pre purchased this game a while back, and I've been waiting hopefully for the performance to improve. However, it's been several months and my game is still running terribly terribly slow, on a fairly good machine. I'm running the lowest graphics options and the game still runs very poorly.

    Maybe also run the game without shadows? Them shadows are a very big hog on power currently. Just access the console by hitting you tilde (~) key ingame and type the following:

    r_shadows 0


    this should give you a bit more performance, hopefully...

    Also, the beta is not fully optimized, which means that once the actual game comes out it will run way smoother than it currently is now. It said the Beta will not be fully optimized when purchasing it so you can't blame this on them :)
