<div class="IPBDescription">The final thread [20 hours to go]</div>To anyone that still hasn't voted for/in round two (everyone should of voted twice). Note: you need to login to vote, or its only counted in a tie.

Also tell your friends you won't give that thing you borrowed back unless they vote.

NS2 is currently third, but when the results are released there will at least be a few thousand people looking around at the top few games.

Not big attention, but if UKE can get a few hundred extra beta sales out of it.. better than a kick to the groin and all that.

    question: was the vote so far tied to a log in, too?
    I wasn't able to open the tab where i suggested NS2 to be in.

    How do you know NS2 is third? Or are you just guesstimating based on what other stuff is in the same genre? I have no idea what all the other games are, except for Dwarf Fortress... which I could see being pretty huge.

    Khaze its just a guess.. you can see the category the votes are ticking too <a href="http://www.indiedb.com/events/2010-indie-of-the-year-awards/scoreboard" target="_blank">http://www.indiedb.com/events/2010-indie-o...ards/scoreboard</a>. You can also see how many 'watchers' a particular game has. An RTS game is currently in third and NS2 is the only RTS game with over 1500 watchers.

    The leading game is an 'Adventure game'- pretty safe bet its minecraft. Might otherwise be Overgrowth.

    The big question is what is the FPS in second ?!?! Minecraft will win indie of the year. Upcoming indie of the year will be NS2 if the FPS in second has already been released...

    argh the suspense...

    No, the leading <i>genre</i> is adventure. Meaning adventure games are getting the most votes in total.

    Meaning the top 3 games could be adventure games. We don't know anything about certain games, only certain groups of games.

    I thought the same as Landiron, but then I figured that there's less competition in the RTS category.
    Having said that though, I did vote for 0 A.D. in addition to NS2.

    Looks like we got 2nd. If you look at the number of page views, minecraft only got 45% more views than we did :P

    Still, not bad, though. Will be great for spreading the word!

    I think that might be a feature because they did say in the past, that aliens will not be able to climb ladders
