<div class="IPBDescription">Game play music video</div>Hey everyone!
I had the idea to make a music video featuring most of the game play aspects and combat in NS2. I did it for fun and also to hopefully add a little more publicity for Unknown Worlds and NS2.
Just a few notes. FRAPS records to the same Hard Drive the game runs off of, I don't have two :( , so you will see a small amount of "stuttering or skipping" because while I play and record especially if there is a lot going on I take a nice performance hit because the Hard Drive is to strained. Normally I average 25-45 FPS. With Fraps recording It dropped to 12-20. It still came out really good and mostly smooth. This is really no different then what NS2HD is doing. But it shows a lot of combat and you get some kick ass songs playing while you watch. It's about 8 minutes long.

Let me know what you think guys! It was fun making. I wish it could of been better quality and had better effects. But I don't own any movie making software so I was stuck with Windows Movie Making...Yuck.

I did an equal amount of killing and dying. Some of the shots transition to another scene right as I am killing the marines. The one where I am chasing him as a skulk it fades out the second I land the bite. The lerk scene as I am crawling in the eggs it transitions. As it's moving up you can see the +5 on my screen. The goal was to show me both killing and getting killed. I didn't want people going. "Worthless video...it's just his ego showing nothing but kill shots." I also wanted to show it so people would see the grenade launchers and flame throwers make you powerful...but not invincible. Also to emphasize that the hit registration was fixed a few builds ago, showing both sides are equal in that area.
Thanks for the positive feed back everyone :) If you really enjoyed it I may just make more. Soon as Tram becomes more playable with large sums of people I will have to record that one.

But seriously guys if you watched it, please comment on it and let me know what you think. The main goal is to gain publicity for NS2. The more people that like it the more that will watch outside the community. That's the goal.
