i came across this interview linked to from one of the general gaming news sites.

read the second question and notice the subtitle of what i believe is a new AvP game in development. AvP: Natural Selection.

at first i thought it was a remarkable coincidence which would have no impact on NS. i still feel this way but i thought i'd pass it along to you folks so that you could make up your own mind. if i cause a panic attack in some of you i apologize beforehand. <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

anyway, i wait patiently for this fine concept of a mod to reach completion. 'til then.

I'm going to say interesting, and leave it at that. This NS will be out first anyway, should any, er, legal troubles come up.

actually this has been discussed on the forums some time ago, and monsE told us, that NS is nicely protected by zee law <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

i thought this might have been brought up already. i hadn't heard of the game (AvP: NS that is) until today. and i'm also not in the habit of reading posts here. i guess the title Natural Selection shouldn't be that foreign a concept in two different games which feature several species interactively maiming each other.
