Ok i got the beta cuz i am too poor to get alpha, when the test engine came out it just didnt work for me, it worked for about 2-5 steps then it would freeze crash and burn.

now the beta is out and when i launch up ns2 it just like in a half freeze state and takes forever to launch the menu, ill let it sit for a minute then ill end the proccess launch it back up (ill repeat this 1-3 times till it will 'instantly' load right up)

After that its all good i try to play the game, join a server. there it goes again, in a freeze state
i think i was able to actually join a server one time i tried but the screen was just black, i could see UI text like player changed name and i think i heard some sounds. I had also opened the console to see what appeared to be a full screen of memory problems, it was saying something about direct3d memory something. Below ill put my system specs

have you tried running windowed mode with the resolution down a bit, i know it says it's supposed to be playable on small systems but in reality i have to run windowed and turn the resolution down to play on a dual core AMD with a 9500GT 1GB card. Also check your Physx drivers as well as your Direct X version and make sure they are up to date.

Doesn't hurt to update Nvidia PhysX and Microsoft .net framework.

appears to have fixed it, except i just cant join any servers.
and fraps goes hay wire at 1800 fps durring the loading screen 'authenticating'
