Sooo... this Halloween ?

in NS2 General Discussion
So I first downloaded NS god knows how long ago, got addicted.. spent countless hours, days, years playing and getting better..
Only for it to die out and now might get 1 maybe 2 players playing on a server.

Then some bright spark designs a new game NS2 ?! I get all exited once again, Except this time I wait... and wait... and wait...
Since that Halloween oh so long ago now NS popped my cherry... Will i be expecting the same ###### this Halloween?

    You are aware that there are a lot more than 1 or 2 players on a server at almost any given time. And you will not get anything this Halloween for being so rude!

    There are still plenty of people playing NS1, the bad clan servers and usually full or at least populated at any given time, and there are a handful of other servers with a decent amount of servers.

    Shift is the new movement chamber (because it <i>shifts</i> your position to that of one of the hives, no doubt), none of the alien classes have changed name.

    excuse my ignorance but are those Australian servers? because i know where he is coming from i only ever see one server and it usually has 8 people in it who are all bots. Not very fun

    It is an alpha... I highly doubt that we will get something related to Halloween or something really cool. It won't be like TF2 Halloween as that game has already been made and can be easily modded now, I think.

    Also, is the Alpha playable yet?

    Well when the alpha first launched Gamearena put up at least one server. I imagine that once people realised NS2 was unplayable, GA closed the server.

    Now if Flayra and the gang can work out the problem plaguing servers with 8 or more people on them, I'd imagine that GA would put at least one back up.

    oh i was talking about NS1...i thought thats what the OP was talking about too. I may have been confused tho
