    just wait for another 6 or 7 weeks. im sure we will find more things to add to the patch. and basically skip the alpha stage (sorry for those who paid for it!)

    I've been playing and having a blast. Frankly this is the most fun i've ever had in a video game, let alone an beta, let alone an alpha. I guess it's just one of the internet's manifold mysteries: that people will find any reason to complain. Oh well, I guess these guys don't know what word the letters A-L-P-H-A spell. Ce'st la vie as the french say, I suppose. Anyways, if any of you wet diapers get it into your minds to play ns2 again I'll be out there, fragging it up :).

    I can get it playable even at 1920x1080 - but yeah - the network problems.....just wait for the patch. Then it' back to business as usual.

    Why do guys like you even bother to answer? All over the board i think we should be past the "It's an ALPHA" replies by now. I'm pretty sure everybody knows this, especially those who paid for it already.

    Current state of NS2, be it ALPHA or whatever, is not very much enjoyable / playable. It's nice to look at for about 10 minutes.

    Ofcourse there are exeptions to the rule, some people will play regardless of the many issues. I salute you.

    Haha yeah! I've had a few games already and I had a lot of fun. True it wasn't the most responsive of games but if you know how to have fun issues aren't a problem.

    For many people, even network issues aside, it's hardly playable in terms of framerate. I played a few jarring matches when the last patch first came out, but it's hard to enjoy something consistently when you're used to playing responsive games.

    Are other players not allowed to say why they aren't currently playing NS2?
