Still can't play

Since the alpha came out, I couldn't play. After the first big patch, I could finally get to the authenticating or authorizing message. Today, I see no servers on the server list. I can't even start a game (never could). It gets stuck on initializing. What can I do?

    best thing to do right now, is to wait for the new patch - its bound to be released in the next week or two. it fixes a huge amount of stuff as well as adding many new features.

    sit tight for a few weeks and you'll be chomping on marines before you know it

    You may need to wait (over 5min) for the initialization to finish. It is still not playable thou.

    what do you mean by it's not playable? as it it's choppy as hell? when i play it's choppy and very bad fps, just curious as to what other ppl are experiencing and what they mean by 'unplayable'

    When I first played there were heaps of servers (More than NS1) but nobody playing.

    But instead I tried singleplayer, it's far to laggy even on a top notch pc. ATI5870 runs the game just as well as an ATI2900Pro. Which is not playable at all. =\

    I don't suggest people getting caught up in the alpha, there's no-one to vs. But it is alot more playable than it was when it was first released, from what i've heard. xP

    It hangs on authorizing. I have not gotten in a server.
