Please Help

So for some reason when I turn on my Natural Selection 2 my game is in a tiny window and it does not go full screen. And since it is so small I am unable to change the settings so it works. is there a way to change the game settings without going through the main menu? Thanks

This sounds like a problem I had some time ago, I belive I had to reinstall the game to make it work.. :P

There's some launch commands for changing the resolution, but I can't remember them right now (sorry). :<

Also Alt-Enter if it's a window. Might make it full screen. Worst case I'll just try to find the config file where resolution is held. What's your screens res anyways?

last i heard there was a glitch switching from windowed to full screen... I just left mine in windowed for the time being since I have eyefinity and full screen wouldn't work.

I think its because my resolution is all messed up

If I remember correctly you need to edit the options.xml in appdata and set the resolution and/or fullscreen settings yourself.

right click on the game (in steam) in question, properties, launch options

-h x -w x

Go to Start > Run, type in %appdata% and hit OK.

did you change the x's to numbers? (sorry to ask but some wouldn't)

yeahhh now it works
but now nobody is on playing hahha and when i try to join it it says client differs

Right click NS2 in steam, click properties, click updates, and make sure it says "always keep updated." Mine had it off by default.
