<div class="IPBDescription">Clarification on awesomeness..</div>So I was just sat thinking about nothing in particular and I wondered if the Special Edition black armour will have a heavy counter part....
Will Special Editon players get Black Heavy Armour...
And if not already... can they think about it because black heavy armour would be pretty badass!!!!

Anyway... discuss....
(There arnt enough light hearted comments and discussions on these forums since the alpha release.)

    i asked this a little bit ago and one of the UW guys responded that at this time, Heavy armor won't be getting a black suit. Subject to change i hope, though.

    Last thing I heared the heavy armor is inspired by the powerloader from aliens.

    I hope it's a bit less 'chunky' then the Powerloaders in the Alien franchise. I hope it's more like Power Armor from the Fallout series.

    DLC leads to corruption, even if started as aesthetics ie. WoW, Battlefield Heroes.

    how can it lead to corruption? it's not a wow environment and if players don't want
    these unique upgrades so it be, nobody forces them

    if the SE helps them funding so can a UE or loose upgrades

    please dont turn this game into "barbie dress-up party" like that other team based game involving fortresses did.

    i know it has no effect on gameplay but it really does water down the style of the game.

    but a personal logo on your armor and UWE could be funded with it...

    Thats the problem. and before we know it you can PURCHASE extra damage (and protection against it).

    NS will become a war of armament, and UWE the merchant of death, NS2 and players without money the victims.

    dude, that's way over it, we're talking about tags and colors, not extra damage or armor.

    and if someone can buy ns2 for 30$ it can be possible to buy tags or an editor for 5$,

    I don't see corruption or victims in this, you guys can be depressive, what's next? conspiracy? :)

    I want black Heavy Armour. And jetpacks too.

    And not dull black like in the picture. I want shiny, sexy, reflective black. Like the sexy black you get on a new BMW, or the new Xbox 360 design.

    And make the women look like Catwoman if possible. Sexy latex black. Hell yeah.

    i think standard black armour is more than enough. adding more stuff is ridiculous, we aren't playing dress ups here. the devs give us a little something for paying a bit extra and everyone gets greedy and asks for more.

    A black heavy armor would be great. I would like to request another armor set, Camouflage Armor which would make the wearer 100% invisible and only be usable by me and no one else. Ever.

    Going back to the DLC comments regarding custom stuff..

    Personally I think UW should plan for paid DLC addons.
    Those who can afford and are happy to support UW by purchasing unique cosmetic items will.
    It also gives them, a small independent company more money towards support and further development.
