<div class="IPBDescription">For those who have newer hardware...</div>Just wondering who is able to play the Alpha at a high resolution with a decent frame rate. What are your specs?
Yes, I know that this is an alpha but I would like to upgrade and make it playable (which it is not currently for me) so I would love to hear from those who have been able to play reasonably.
Also, anyone know the specs of the systems the devs are using?

i7 920 quad core @ stock 2.66 ghz
6 gigs ddr3 1300 stock
ati radeon HD 4870 1 gig ddr5
+######, very slow hard drive
Windows Vista 64
At 1600x1200 resolution I get a solid 30 fps.
Theres some peoples specs and average fps.
Mine being
CPU: I7 920 @ 3.80ghz
RAM: 6GB DDR3
Graphics Card: Nvidia 275
OS: 7 64bit
Average Framerate: 40-45 average, goes to 35 or 50 - 60 depending where I am
Minimum: 20
Maximum: 70 - 80
Running at 1680 x 1050 on High
Get the fastest clock speeds and high bandwidth hardware; multiple gpus or cpu cores are not well supported yet. But of course, it's alpha, so you would be kind of silly to upgrade just to play an unoptimized alpha build.
6 GB RAM
Solid State
Radeon 5770 1 GB
Win 7 64
1680*1050
Get a little under 30 on average.
GTX260, mildly overclocked but not too much due to only using a stock fan cooler
4gb of ram
Gets perfect 40-60fps at 1280x1024 all settings high
AMD Phenom 9600 Agena 2.3GHz
4 gigs of ram
Geforce 9800GTX+
Vista 64 (desperately needs a rebuild)
it does not really like 1920x1080 very much at all
at 1280 x720 i'm getting 10-20 fps.
Assuming the settings are all at high, but who know:)
There seem to be issues with sound caching thus the first time i play a sound on a load it drops to essentially zero while loading the sound off the drive.
Should probably just give up the extra space and raid 0 it
6gb ram
2x gtx260 black edition
1680x1050
intel ssd
win7
latest nvidia beta drivers
avg. 100fps, with one gtx260 its avg. 70fps, goes down when lots of stuff happens
8GB RAM
ATi Radeon 4870
Windows 7 64bit
Runs at an acceptable framerate.
