[Review] MANY Constructive Suggestions & Key Problems Checklist [Aliens][General]

In hopes of the devs seeing this, I have made a list of things that I believe to important information to know.

[Aliens]
1) Leap takes far too much energy. It takes more than 1/3 your energy?
2) Energy seems to recharge a bit slow, but reducing the amount for leap may help.
3) The upgrade menu for aliens should allow you to right click to exit, left click to select.
4) The upgrade menu for aliens is very unclear, what is the heart symbol? What IS everything?
5) The hud sometimes disappears completely, especially when attacking a marine structure. The hud is also very unclear, we need labels on things.
6) How to go onos?
[General]
1) Tons of errors in console, I am sure you are aware of.
2) Cannot view game info from steam friends.
3) When you join a game through friends, entering the password on steam does not allow you to connect to the server.
4) For talking, keep y as the primary chat, u as team chat...remember majority of people came from half-life, let's make it easier on everyone.
5) When typing, and hitting escape, I believe it does not cancel your text. It may even send the text typed anyhow.
6) When a player types and message disappears, it is not echo'd to the console, so if u missed what they said, you cannot see what they typed.
7) The join server UI need to allow people to double click on servers to join them.
8) The join server UI has 2 join buttons, one at the bottom center when you clikc on a server, and the one on the top left. Get rid of the one of on the bottom center, and just use the one on the top left to join servers.
9) Performance is VERY bad. I am running a phenom II, 3.4ghz quad core, and 8gb of dr 1600, with an ati 4850x2 (2gb ddr3 vram), and it runs like hl1 did on a 500mhz computer.
10) Hitboxes are obviously an issue, I believe you stated the poor registry in your news post.
11) When your server is configured for another port, and you use the connect command to connect to a server, it still shows the default port 27015. Very misleading.
That is all I have for now. I didn't get much time to play the marines. I hope this list helps keep a check on even the smaller essential things.
Please everyone is free to add bugs or errors they see. Let's make it easier by giving them some bulleted feedback to review

after triyng 5 time the password of my friend server, i was finaly able to join it but i cannot join other ppl server. when im in the rr my console flood a lot of bug and i got like 1 fps and its buging my entire comp. my windows freeze non stop each 3 sec i need to reboot.
when i alt + tab its taking like 10-15 sec to return in game. that should be 1 or 2.
when we press tab we cant know who is com in our team.
we should be able to exit the evolve menu by pressing the same button we did for entering it.(edit: and about that menu... if u put the same we were having on ns1 that would not be original but seriously that was fine, fun and fast. yeah some needed us to move our mouse 4 or 5 time but that was still easy to remember. anyway on ns1 i was using my F1toF5 for my aliens construction.... that was way faster than the menu)
we can change our gun with the mouse wheel but only up not down and we cant change that in the options.
yeah the hud disapear and im +1 about its not clear enough. its looking too much 2d, too much in corner. (edit : ah and i dont know if its because i wasnt having a HUD but when we hear " our building is being attaked" i dont see something in my screen alerting me. i didnt play ns 1 for 2 or 3 year but im pretty sure we were having something alerting us no ? a red circle or something ? )
we need a loading bar lol ?
your F1 in game is not working.
Also, I've found the F1 works. It just take a while since it has to load stuff via the Steam Overlay, which is kinda clunky.
I agree the UI will need some retooling as we progress. There were several times I instinctively hit a button expecting one thing, but nothing happened. However, I think the biggest issues right now are bring up performance so we can run around and try to play with the mechanics given and worry about UI and such later.
Is that by design or just not implemented?
Or at least I hope not implemented....
we cant write when we are diying.
its impossible to fly with the lerk its too hard. i dont want to plane i want to fly... the jump distance when we press spacebar should be reduce by 90 or 80 % so we can fly in a direction instead of just going to the top of the map non stop.
the nade damage should be reduce by 50 %
j1 and j2 in console for joining a team should bindable on the button of our choice.
when we use the second fonction on the pistol, the crosshair is not changing.
there is no spark when hiting a building or the wall with our bullets and the axe
some time i got a bug when i shot only 1 bullet i hear my gun shooting 15
the W S A D is not working in the com chair and we cant zoom (we need at least 1 more view i dont have the best eyes on the world lol)
there is no FR keyboard support. (french) not a big deal but its still anoying always writing ^ instead of ?
marines never lose energy when running
the word "game" should be changed for something like "mod" or something else because... i THINK we are playing natural-selection 2 lol
we cant see the player limit on a server. we can only see how many are on at the moment. its not like 15/24 (or better : 15/22/2 (2 = 2 slot reserved so 22+2 = a total of 24))
you guys should add the real ping too on number not only with green bars. the bars are good for noob who dont know what a ping is but for regular player we cant know how much are those green bar... is that under 50 ping ? 75 ? 100 ? i want to be sure i will not play with lagger like when i was playing combat arms.
we need to know wich map the server is on. right now there is only 1 map of course but... (if there is enough space to show the nextmap of the mapcycle on the server too that would be nice)
im still unable to join pubs after the first patch...
right about the leap thing though. but i must say the normal bite takes too little energy compared to NS1
