Problems Connecting to Servers.......please help

<div class="IPBDescription">"Attempting to Connect" to the server......</div>Is there a fix for the "attempting connection" while trying to connect to a server? I havent been able to log on to any servers as of yet, and I can't quiry any servers other than the main game options screen. I just get a "server not responding" error.

    best you can do is send in feedback about it and then wait for the next patch update to see if it gets fixed :)

    When you try to connect to the top servers and get a "Attempting connection" message, that means the server is full. You can leave your game in that state, it will join the server as soon as a slot is free.

    it may be more than the server being full. I've tried connecting to roughly a dozen servers with different shown player counts including just 1 and 2.

    From my understanding, this hammers the server in question and causes extreme latency issues.

    No it doesnt. The network traffic caused by 10 connect packets a second is minimal.

    The larger issue is the outrageous cpu usage of the dedicated server, once you get higher than ~10 players.

    I have the same problem. Haven't been able to connect to any of the 20+ servers I see up and running. Verifying the integrity of the files or reinstalling doesn't seem to fix the issue. Hopefully this is something that can be fixed :(

    If it's still not working, I would log onto IRC and ask around for a working server that people are on but has a free slot. Many are passworded, but they'll just give you the pass if you ask in IRC.
