Have the peformance specs been released?

I want to preorder the game, I really do, but my computer is essentially the same as it was playing NS1 several years ago, have any of the system requirements been released?

    They don't generally do that until closer to release. There's still a lot of time for optimization, changes, etc so setting a spec now may be premature.

    EDIT: I was wrong, they've released them -- see below. :)

    1.2 GHz Processor, 256MB RAM, a DirectX 9 level graphics card, Windows Vista/2000/XP, Steam, mouse, keyboard and an internet connection.

    yeah, they said they want to hit them with 1.0, until then performance will permanently increase.
