Black Armor Code

If we have the limited edition where were we supposed to get our code from? Is it the same as the pre-alpha code we put in earlier?

I'm fairly certain it's already tied in with the key you receive when you purchase the game.

So we got a key for the SE and enabled it on Steam, downloaded the engine test, messed around, and now we're getting a different key? How does that work - lol? Is it a key just for the DLC tab under properties for the game? I don't see any option to add DLC content - hmmmmmm...

afaik - the current key you have is for NS2 itself. Steam does, currently, not know the difference between special and normal orders. This key that will be sent to you will activate a DLC of the black armour and the alpha. Bit of a weird setup, I know.

Thanks for the reply! Now that I think about it, Battlefield 2 : Bad Company had two seperate keys as well: one for the game and the other to unlock a few weapons and vehicle armor enhancements. Perhaps it will work the same way? :) thanks again!

Are the redeemable codes linked to specific keys? Just ordered an extra copy for a friend this morning which means I now have 2 games linked to the same email account. Curious if it matters who uses which code.

Ok as it said on the News coverage that the ALPHA content would be down-loadable before hand but you wont be able to run without the correct E-mailed NEW key for ALPHA access which is tonight for you guys and 1pm for myself.

However i am staring at the DLC content and its empty regardless of what the news tab was saying about being able to download it before hand but just not able to "play" it.

    Any Suggestions ?

    :)

No the codes are not linked to accounts.
