I remember when the forums members held steady at around 300. Life must have been much easier for the server and the Mods back then.
I was getting ready to tie a bandana on my head and start running around my city screaming "Give me an HMG ASAP!". Good thing the forums are back. It's just the fix I need to settle me back down.
I predict the "forums down" message on the front page will be there for at least a few days while the forums are up, to be removed when the forums are down again.
I tried forums at other places, and *man* do people ever suck. "Y CAn THER BE HMG FLAR GREN ADDON LASER TURRENT WALLH@X?1?!' is a good example of the topics actively participated in. -_-

Did you know there's one building in Seattle that looks almost exactly like the (formerly?) Prince of Wales building near the harbor? (Which is now a PLA barracks, I believe)
That, and New York is utterly overrun with HSBC banks, it's scary.
But yes, the forums have been down and I was going through withdrawal.

Now do you people see why the forums (and IRC channel) are moderated so heavily? It's so they don't become smoldering pits of flamefests and general llamaness. Before the release these forums were considered by most of the members to be among the friendliest forums on the net. Me (and the majority of the people who have been reading the forums since before the release) would like to see the forums back to thier former glory.
