An idea from <b>phoenixbbs</b> to make a thread for UK NS2players.

Also made, was a Natural Selection 2 UK <a href="http://steamcommunity.com/groups/NS2UK" target="_blank">steam group</a>. For those who are playing the SE next week and want to organize any games :)

So how many of you have bought the Special Edition? And where about's in the UK are you from?

    Lots of NS players are from the uk. About 6 months ago the best servers still running were from Ireland, EU or the UK. I plan to host a decent server for NS2 from a UK connection when it's out, and I'm sure a bunch of UK players plan to do the same, so don't worry about the UK contingent being underrepresented.

    Ah awesome. I was checking peoples info and I wasn't seeing a lot from the UK (At least active) and I was dreading having to connect to the US. Though I do hope more people will join up the steam group. I only made it because I couldn't find an existing UK group, and I only know one person who has the SE. That and its nice to be part of :)

    Shropshire Here.

    Our community will also be hosting multiple servers, although they are all based in New York (best ping location for UK - US). The primary community base is US although server's are still playable with minimum lag. Depending upon the success of NS2 I may fire up a UK based server also :)

    I will be getting a whole bunch of NS2 servers brought online in the UK by 2 or 3 hosting companies. So there will be plenty to go round.

    Hahaha, We shall see! But also brilliant about the servers.

    EDIT:

    I would of made the STEAM group "Natural Selection 2 Europe" But Europe is a big place :P Tho I guess it doesn't have to be UK specific, despite the name :>

    I could rename it to Natural Selection Europe (NS2EU kind of looks weird to me, but I'm like that ), though there are no issues if you are from outside of the UK and you want in. More players the merrier.

    Yeah, I don't really know what there is to organise! Other than just keeping lists of servers and maybe prodding people into games :>

    Just two group icons I made.

    Not sure if I will change NS2UK to NS2EU. Though minus the white writing (Which I'll probably remove), I'm pretty happy with it. Not bad considering I've not touched PS in a while!

    If people keep pushing for UK to expand to Europe, I will change the STEAM group over. Hopefully the admins can re-title this thread too :>

    UK here. Generally most games have enough european servers to make it playable, I generally end up on german servers if there aren't any UK ones, generally you get good ping from anywhere in western europe.
