Is there a reason why NS2 is not on the coming soon games list on steam, I would think that since other games have pre orders sold there NS2 could also couldnt it? It is being sold on steam after all but when? Other 3rd party game devs seem to be able to put there games up on it so the cost of advertisement on the coming soon page cant be that much

I have a feeling once this hits beta it'll be that way. Once they get that cooking it will be far more appealing to the average person to look into, and pre-ordering will net beta access so it'll be a win win. They still need to compile a compelling gameplay trailer and what not to entice people.

I would suppose it's because the game isn't coming at a set date. The Alpha cannot be sold by Steam really, the game is too far from completion to be presented for sale on such a large game platform.

Well, pre-order playing and coming soon pages are different things, after the 26th, wouldnt it reasonable to allow it to grow freely since those that pre order it then would be force to wait anyways. Well, it does make sense to not allow it to be there to soon otherwise the general community could be thrown off by how the alpha is, but still, a coming soon page without a buy method would work to though like some of the games there without pre-order buttons. With all the news updates and little pictures, that should be enough content, more then most major game companies that hold everything till conferences. I just think it would give a little spike to sells and remind people that the special edition is here for those die hard fans that live under a rock and didnt know NS2 was around. Who knows what goes on in unknownworlds, perhaps they have a greater reason and maybe your right
