Dedicated Server

Hi all,

I am in the process of drumming up support for NS2 in our ANZ Community. (ANZ Australia/New Zealand)

I would like to start an NS1 server just to show players the base from which NS2 originated.

I was never particularly good at NS1 but I did enjoy watching my sons playing it. IMO it has all the co-operative aspects that I like to see in a game.

I have a few questions please ...

Q1. I am not up to date on how NS2 operates in a multi-player environment - will someone please post some links that will give me a precis of this area.
Q2. Will someone also please post some links to installing and setting up a NS1 dedicated server + metamod/sourcemod as applicable.

We are a "server centric" community and run successful "social" servers for the benefit of our members and public players. We would also love to run a dedicated NS2 server when it becomes available.
