    It's not healthy to always think the worst of people...
    In this case it was kind of like the default was "in" and once he dismissed the reason it would've been out, in would be the only remaining choice.

    It's probably wiser just to wait and see. I wouldn't expect confirmation or denial of its inclusion until it's either in and working close to perfeclty, or out because they can't find to do that.

    DI is obviously a massive challenge as far as features go, I don't think it's ever been done before in any game and it will need a lot of work to make something that complex look good, so until it has been completed or at least until it's known that it can be completed successfully, I wouldn't expect anyone to say 'oh yeah it's in but we haven't finished it yet' because as you've already seen with things like the release date, problems occur and things take longer than expected, or turn out to be impractical, or whatever. It isn't wise to announce a major feature if you aren't certain it can be done.

    I agree. DI is extremely ambitious and obvious one of the finer points of excitement surrounding NS. The last update we had about it was Flay confirmed that they may have had to cut it, but the pre-orders allowed them to keep it, and the Exoskeleton in the game. Considering recently game code has been ripped about the exoskeleton itself...the chances of DI still being present is high. Naturally, it's been almost 6 months since the fall and that last post, and a lot of progress has had to have happened. During that post Flay also stated that all major game systems have been implemented. We haven't seen literally ANYTHING related to the commander aside from some mockups over a year ago...but im sure it's in the game and very fleshed right now.

    They want to give us all the info, but im sure they dont have time to make reveals of everything when they can be putting finishing touches. I think we'll all be suprised how feature rich NS2 is upon release.

    Too many people on the NS forums complaining about lack of info or screenshots or videos. If we had it their way by the time NS2 came out we'd have seen and played absolutely everything the game has to offer already and we'd all be ridiculously bored of it.

    I have to agree with Lemming.
    They release data as it becomes stable and in use with their engine so far as I've seen.
    And the Dynamic infestation we saw was merely a prototype. They will probably have more information on that once the engine becomes more playable, and the aliens are implemented into the Alpha.
    As what use is Dynamic infestation without a team who make use of it.

    I would assume DI to affect the power grid in the same fashion as buildings being attacked. Imagine if DI started creeping into a marine-controlled room, slowly building up through a door frame. Make the lights flicker, the comm's screen flash red in that zone.

    i rather want my money back if they took it out thats one of the mine reason i bought the pre-order , i hate it when game company's put out false advertisements about there games because there lazy .. yes i say lazy that's my opinion so suck it time to watch red vs blue and play other games that arent going to waste my time ....

    I'd rather people knew what it was they were posting about before they posted. As it's been said countless times so far, DI is NOT out of the game. Now, Imma go and "suck it" while you waste more time watching Red vs Blue.

    Probably not. But who knows, it's a new game and they might change up alien upgrades. As far as not hearing about DI, I figure they're sort of at a middle ground. Not too sure whether it's going to work the way they want it to, but they do intend to keep working on it. Basically there isn't anything to say about it yet. Honestly I won't be disappointed if it doesn't make it into the game. If DI is what makes NS2 for you, man, you didn't play the original.
