The square dent is certainly not over thought and it just seemed to me that in every game and everywhere you'll have that simple kind of texture already. Just wanted to make it different for that reason. But since you gave me the idea, I'll make a version without the dent in it but blue? I'd like it to fit the refinery set and keeping it gray/white is the way to good in my opinion or I'll have to make more textures to go along with it.
Yeh, I ment a blue version in addition to the white, I was looking at doing a texture set based on those in ns_anyumi. Silver, Grey, Blue and Gold/Yellow is good combo, makes an interesting lab set. I got sick of the brownish color of eclipse and hera etc, Nice maps but its like having the same wallpaper all through your house in every room.

I'm not working much on this anymore .. up to 45 or more custom materials and almost 30 modified from the original materials so I should be releasing a zip file of the whole texture pack somewhere next week maybe along with the engine test release on friday so people don't get all their attention on how crapy my materials are compared to UWE ones.. haha !
that would be nice, but i cant see how they look inside of the engine so there's no real use. i can make it look great in maya but without being able to edit and reload the textures in the viewer i wont be able to acheive the quality ide like.
