<div class="IPBDescription">Damage to facial areas = cool effects?</div>Ok i don't know if I've seen this somewhere else before but, What if we have it so when skulks etc hit parts of the frontal/facial area it effects view..
If the skulk bit the helmet and ripped a chunk off after you killed it, the helmet area that was removed would be repaired by nanites with a nice cool effect.
And again make an option to disable it (On by default) for people that winge to much lol

2 I agree that having location specific damage to marine's armor would be a cool effect. I'm not sure about it auto-nano-repairing itself unless your armor also regenerated for some reason (commdr gives armor powerup?)
But the sad thing is there a lot of small cool effects that could be added for immersion value but can be too time costly to implement.
IF there was SOMEHOW a single player where the marine/s went around with nano tech. It would be awesome, but i guess i'd have to make it a mod.
maybe put in a crude system for it so its open for modders to work on it.
Like if i knew how to i would like many other things.
No, just don't. You shouldn't be in I&S if your idea is a) random b) for combat.
