Anti-cheating Solution ?

i have a suspected cheater on my server. It's very hard to tell but it seems like he MIGHT have an aimbot because he's just rediculously accurate. It might be that he's just that good but everyone on the server is getting paranoid now.

so, i'd like to install some sort of anti-cheat app.
Is anyone else using something with NS currently ?

    I am using HLGuard on my NS Server, but so far I havent noticed anyone getting caught by it.

    Havent checked the logs for a while.

    But since alot of servers arent running any cheat protection its possible that they just stay away from mine.........gonna check the logs later tonight.

    If I recall correctly HLGuard isn't going to actually detect the cheats, it's going to attempt to "block" them from working (wallhacks etc.)

    There is the aimbot detection, but, I've never actually seen that ban anyone <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    need to be very careful with the aimbot detection.. dont put the sensitivity to high or a good player will be banned as using a cheat when in fact they were not. we played with it and decided to leav it at its original setting but enabled.

    Well I havent change the orginal settings at all since, heh I dont know exactly what most of the settings do.
    But its only until NS get VAC support, wich I hope is soon.
