Personally I don't think the Skulks have been nerfed at all. There has been a growing number of alien players that feel skulks have been weakened but other then the carapace fix (which was a small adjustment) I don't think they were any less lethal then they were before.
There has been one thing I have noticed, sometimes it seems to take considerably more *CHoMPs* (3-5) to kill a crouched marine.
I know there has been talk of a crouched hitbox issue where skulks have to aim for the **obscenity** area <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo--> to hurt the marines, somebody mentioned to me that hitboxes is not a NS issue but a HL issue. Is that correct, is the hitbox issues (I recall almost every HL Mod having Hitbox issues) a problem for HL? Can it be fixed?

as a skulk u have to control held down in a vent to bite someone skulks are so small tho that they dont need ctrl to be in a vent so noone uses it and hence noone does damage
but ive noticed 1 other thing
u cant bite downwards or upwards (i dont enjoy that cuz sometimes i jump people from below or from above and totally miss cuz i land on there head or attack their feet)
if ctrl isnt held in while in a cent your bite will not affect the human player at all but if u hold in ctrl is works
Why should a marine be able to spin around freely and fire a rifle in a 1x1 foot vent? The marines ought to be pistol only in the vents. Reminds me of counter-strike vent AWP'ing, in real life no way you can spin in a vent with a 4 foot rifle.
in vents always hold control (even if u are a skulk and dont need to u need it to bite)
if u dont hold control your bite wont do **obscenity**
some people are so stupid they shouldn't be allowed to play flf.
Skulks cant bite upwards
Skulks cant bite down
Skulks cant bite people on a ladder from above or below
Skulks bite is messed up i die too much cuz of it
