Torque

Hello people

This is Torque, I think it is a playable map. Yes it doen't look like a great map but generally i tryed to focus on balance of game. The name of places are not important, they can change.

    Nice work, although I have to distress that Main hall just may be too much of strategic importance.

    Otherwise keep up the good work and let us know how/why you made rooms like this.

    Firstly thank you :)

    Yes the main hall is one of stratigic point. But you can see a few rooms join to main hall and a few dark places. And i can add one or two more vent. (I just did :D )

    On the other places of map; you can see dark or narrow corridors.

    I'm loving the main hall as a conflict zone. This map definitely has potential!

    Some of the larger rooms don't seem to have very much cover thus giving a slight advantage to the marines.

    For there to be winners their must be losers... Besides this map reminds me of this counter strike map that they play on the BAD clan server... forget the name, but when i see the "full map" i'm reminded of it. Point is that map worked out good and was enjoyable so...

    Why doesn't you map have lava Mr. map maker??? And a room next to marine start with a circle of 10 resource towers? :P

    From a gameplay perspective this map has horrible lighting. A map that is mostly dark isn't atmospheric; it's a pain in the ass.

    Reminds me of Doom 3: amazing graphics, but it's too dark to see any of it.

    Screenshots are often not very indicative of actual brightness. I'd wait to see it in the game before making that judgment.

    A1: There is no need to have lava i think :) It is an underground place, much close to big underground testing cave theme. Sacred place :D

    You can't have atmospheric light in the underground places, can you ? There is no sun no moon :)

    Yes darkly because you have long and big places= avantege for marines or rangers long and big places but dark avantege for aliens,
    Yes of course dark. This is a testing place and if you have some kind of test, you will have trouble with your test subject! (broken things...) So there is an alien or life-form or bacterial test, you've got trouble with them, Aren't you ? (Isn't it a subject of NS)

    Plus not like you can't change the brightness values if it does turn out to be too dark. Not like this is EXACTLY how the map has to be in the final game :P
