Which lists all of the changes on the sites (the current one is the second one) since the first day.

I'm not sure how serious this conversation is.
They have done an alright job of keeping the story quiet
or maybe I'll just rent it!
I also like the fact that the multiplayer has a storyline attached to it.
Plus, who the hell wouldn't want to be a big Daddy?
Woo.
mmm, delicious innuendo.
And I always use every single trap rivet I have on protecting little sisters who are harvesting.
It's pointless. All the splicers are significantly tougher, and all of the other big daddies are still significantly stronger than you. It just seems silly that you're a big daddy, complete with helmet and stuff, when you're not particularly stronger than any of the other splicers around. The only advantage you seem to have over them is that you can use medpacks. Big Daddy or not, you're still one of the weakest guys around.
It could've been like... you were one of the first prototypes for a "protector" for the little sisters, and you're just a heavily spliced and mentally conditioned guy rather than a big daddy.
Big Sisters are a pain to fight but if you've got some mini turrets, they're not too bad. The new Big Daddy type is actually pretty pathetic if you fight it using nothing but the drill. Run in and get up close, then circle strafe it within stabbing distance, and at most it'll punch you once which doesn't do much damage. Try to fight it from a distance and it'll set up turrets and blow your face up with it's rockets.
The brutes are pretty annoying because you don't really get any warning about them coming, but once you've got insect swarm they're pretty easy.
The reason I'm pointing all that out is because it means that the regular, bog standard splicers are <b>even more annoying</b>. The big sister, big daddies and brutes are easy to take down with minimal prep, but the regular splicers respawn fairly regularly (and in stupid places; I once went into a dead end corridor, walked to the end to pick something up, turned around and walked back, and was attacked by two leadhead splicers from behind me, where <b>I'd just been</b>) and hurt like a mofo. Leadheads and Thuggish splicers deal out some serious damage for cannon fodder. It's a good job medpacks are everywhere.
On Medium every Splicer with a weapon uses Armor Piercing rounds.. I don't want to try it on hard :l

Yeah, but then you zoom in...

£20 for a £40 game & Bioshock sure was a treat.
On a negative note my game has frozen twice so far and the second time cost me about 3 hours of play (where the hell are autosaves ?) which has put me right off playing it again.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Our first PC patch, released on 2/12 fixed numerous bugs but also caused a problem with multiplayer so that users cannot hold down their mouse button (meaning they can’t charge a plasmid and rapid fire weapons like the machine gun will need individual clicks to fine and can’t go continuously.)
Please let all consumers know that we are working around the clock and will fix this problem and other pressing issues soon, and the cult will continually update as we have more info.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
any how here is the patch in case you wanted to know what is in it.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Today we released a patch for BioShock 2 on the PC for issues that we uncovered between the title’s production and launch. Unfortunately, this patch is causing errors in the Multiplayer portion of the game where holding down the mouse button does not register in game. We are already working on a fix to this problem and I will update you with more details as soon as I have them. The full patch list is available here for your reference (minus any potential spoilers.) Our work to fix other issues (including our widescreen fix) is still ongoing and they will be coming shortly. As always, I’ll be posting here whenever I have an update for you.

On a side note I did enjoy the single player game, how ever I have no great urge to replay it just yet.
After it crashed I was forced to start all the way back at the start of the "Ryan amussments" section even though I was about 3 hours past it.
Was not amused.
I like how researching has been made better, no more whacking a big daddy in the back and then waiting to get hit in the face to get a full point action shot.
p.s. big daddies does not like being drenched in hypnosis plasmid goo, they could at least taken it like a sport instead of dueling me to the death as I run away.
