Lerk: Bite - 50 damage.
Skulk: Bite - 75 damage.
Fade: Slash - 80 damage.
Onos: Bite - 120 damage.
Is it just me, or is it odd that there's such a small increase between Skulk and Fade melee, then a huge jump from Fade to Onos? +25 from Lerk to Skulk, +5 from Skulk to Fade and +40 from Fade to Onos just doesn't seem right. The damage order does, with Lerks being the worst and Onos being the best, but the increases don't fit.
Am I nuts to think that Fades should have a better melee attack?

Also, I think the lerks bite is a tad faster than the skulks..but I may have just convinced myself of that to rationalize biting with lerks seemingly doing more damage <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

And ive never cared too much about numbers, as long as it feels right, and playing alien defenetly does.
As for the lerk i can only say that it has got an insane rate of fire, even one flyby is most often deadly. So i dont agree w/ making his attack stronger, especially since its got UMBRA and not many marines know in how much trouble they are w/ a little bat running around in a orange cloud.
yeh but if ur lerk then u have the ranged attack that has to be the most efective vs small out-posts , and when u have adrenalin turrets and factorys fall before ur power!... well kind of but on maps with lots of vents then the lerk can stop lots of marines from getting past with there spores and pester mariens with there needles.
lerks are fine and my frav class to play , fades are truly all powerfull as long as you can get blink to work.
Skulk is fine but lurk always seem low to me and it has a < skulk rate of fire to me.
