Update works fine for me, but I still cannot use the digits "8" and "9" on my keyboard. When I hit the keys on my keyboard the number just is not written out. I have to write it to a .txt fiel an copy it in. Using Windows' onscreen keyboard gives me the same issue.
And yeah the whole texture editing system is a real impertinence right now. Needs to be much more VHE-like. But I heard it's being worked on so I don't mean to [-]######[/-] swear. ;)
Did you try the numpad? 8 and 9 seem to be registered as [ and ] on european keyboards (like mine), so you'll have to change the keyboard binding that uses those. I believe it's the thinner/coarser grid things.

Whyever I didn't think of trying that. ^^ Yeah I just noticed 8 and 9 changes the movement snap. :o I removed the binding in the settings and now 8 and 9 from the digit row on the keyboard work fine as well. Thanks. ;)

I don't know if it will work or not, but you could try deleting %appdata%\Natural Selection 2\Editor (backup options.xml if you want, which has the button shortcuts and window layouts)

I noticed they fixed some issues with the Square Tool, but there are still alot of bugs using it. It took me an hour to make a hole in a cylinder... ><
Yeah holes in cylinders are major pain. I found that if you extruded the cylinder then tried to make a hole in part it screws up in various ways. You can get it to work a little better by extruding the cylinder to the size of the hole you want, make your hole, then extrude the cylinder the rest of the way afterwards...

By the way keep those time lapse videos coming; they're great!
