Okay, I am trying to have a center cutout in the room. However, I am having trouble actually doing this in spark. I get one side correct, and i try to create faces and flip them and try to remove them and all that kind of junk, just fiddling with it trying to get it to have the center piece correct on both sides of the walls, here are the screen shots - any suggestions?

Correct side:

    What about this.

Do not use rectangles, use walls.
    i.e.

Draw a rectangle or your shape on to the floor then draw smaller rectangle or shape into it. And extend walls.
Then draw windows into walls then delete them.
    As i do here.

Also use texture shift property for the wall textures to fit them better.

May be this can solve your problem.

The problem here is that you duplicated the walls and flipped them BEFORE cutting, so the outside didn't get affected because they are different faces.

Delete the outside part, then copy & paste the inside (correct) part, and flip it, so the outside part is exactly the same as the inside (with the windows).

thanks to the last two posts, this should fix my problem.

I did indeed flip the face, create a second face, and then create a rectangle on the one face on the inside. Therefore, it didn't create the rectangle on the outer face...

If I run into any more problems regarding this room, ill be sure to toss them in here. But I should get this the way I need it now

    Thanks guys!
