Okay, so let me try to make it clear.
He buys it(i cant myself, i gave him money to buy it), then he gets the code, and when it comes out he uses it to get link to download game and sends it to me.Right?

I have a feeling that when it is released you'll be able to enter the CD-Key into the website and download it after entering it. So all he'll have to do is send you the CD-Key. But there could be many possibilities on how they can release it. I'd just worry about it around the time it gets released.

Probably the easier thing to do is when he purchases it, he'll get an e-mail with a code. He'll give you the code and you could probably just ask him to forward future NS e-mails to your own e-mail [as eventually one will contain a download link]

I don't believe it has been stated whether the code will be used to gain access to download or used during the installation part, but I'd wager it would be used for installation [With the logic that if a regular 20$ gets the alpha installer, their code won't allow them to have access...?]

I guess we will have to wait for answer from someone on NS2 team.Since noone really knows and they didnt really say anything:/
P.S. I just hope its not through recieving the game itself on mail or something, hopefully its just typeing in code to get link to download.

What will happen is that when your friend buys the game he'll get a CD key via e-mail to the address he used when he bought it. Any future updates, including details of how to get the game itself when the time comes, will be sent there. If you want to change the e-mail address associated with the CD key so that its you that gets all this, you can find details of how to do that <a href="http://www.naturalselection2.com/faq/game-questions/i-didnt-get-my-key-or-need-it-resent-also-i-want-to-change-m.html" target="_blank">here</a>.

That doesn't help if his friend bought two copies with the same e-mail address though. In that case you have to contact Charlie.

How young are you that you can't possibly save $40 prior to release? Q2 is the most realistic projection for release. A little math reveals that you'd only need to save about $5 per month!
You'll be a better friend in the long run by practicing a little bit of self-discipline and patience. That way you won't have to bring exchanging money, account info, and whatever else private matter into the friendship.

P.S. Yes, yes. I know this doesn't directly answer the original question but it's probably the best advice he's going to get. Teach a man to fish and all that...

Greer's paying for it himself, he just doesn't seem to have a paypal account (or something)

Ah. I misunderstood. Well, Greer should look into getting a check/debit card at the very least in the meantime. Pre-order or not, having a means by which to make online purchases is kind of a must-have for modern-day consumption. That is, if he's old enough to be trusted with such responsibility.
If he's not, well...let's just say I hope I his parents' computer doesn't have a microphone and I hope he doesn't end up on the same server as myself. :P

Ok, this depends on if your friend has bought it or not yet.

    1. If he has not bought it for you yet:
Get him to purchase it but *not* to log into his paypal account when purchasing. He will have to manually enter his payment information, but he will be able to put YOUR email address in the purchase form. If he is logged in, it will use HIS email address which we do not want.

    2. If he has bought it:
As someone linked above, go here: <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/change" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/change</a> and get him to change it. Or contact charlie@unknownworlds.com to help you out.
