<div class="IPBDescription">skulks being more skulky</div>well I just thought that maybe it would make gameplay more interesting and not so straight forward for skulks by encouraging them to sneak around and attack from behind
- this means that they would need to work in packs and just generally screw with the marine players brains to try to get them to face the wrong way
what do you guys think? (or does the marine ability to hit the skulks with the lmg already encourage this well enough?)

Not to mention that this idea is only going to give a tremendous advantage to alien team at the start of the game. I see no effort to counter-balance this alien advantage that would restore balance.
It's not a bad idea in of itself, but when you get into the practicality of it all, you clearly see how much trouble it would ultimately cause.
I disapprove of this idea.
& because if you got attacked from the front... you have some arms and a gun to protect your body. But from the back you don't really have anything.
Seems way too OverPowered. If you manage to bite a marine from behind chances are you will be able to land the second chomp which would leave the marine either dead or a gorge's breath away from death in the early game (assuming they don't mess with the numbers too much in NS2).
Also location damage in melee attack can be a real pain in the butt (hehe) like with the backstab example in TF2. Imagine if spies in TF2 would be able to wall walk, be super fast, and small. How annoying would that be? The only reason backstab works is because only a few people in the team play spy and it comes with severe handicaps.
I know your suggestions is just 2x damage and not an instakill but the comparison holds true enough.
