<div class="IPBDescription">NS2 clan future</div>As I want to get a feel for this great and mysterious community I thought id ask some questions =)
Will you join a NS2 Clan?
If yes, will it be in a multi gaming community or exclusive to NS2?
Will you play one side or both sides in NS2?
Will you be in a clan that use voice communication?

Probably not, I do not have time for this anymore.
> If yes, will it be in a multi gaming community or exclusive to NS2?
Doesn't matter.
> Will you play one side or both sides in NS2?
I would play both sides...
> Will you be in a clan that use voice communication?
Yes.
Maybe.

Depends.

Both, mostly marin.

I hope so.
For competetive play both sides and voice communication are a must of course. I don't really care if it's a multigaming one, but it's quite likely that I end up in some group build up from the old Euro NS competetive community.
Definitely looking to join a clan for competitive play. Of course it all depends on how much free time I have, but I really hope so. (Also on the minor chance that NS2 isn't awesome I may change my plans. But I doubt it!)

No, I always prefer a specialised clan for any game. Dunno why.

Both sides!

Absolutely necessary for competitive play, so of course!

These are both silly questions for anyone serious about playing the game. (people that would join a clan fall into this category ofc.)
I'll probably join a clan, but we'll see. It's good to play along with the same group of people, there's more opportunity to develop individual roles and practice teamwork
> Will you join a NS2 Clan?
For competitive play? Maybe. Though I am part of a community eager to watch NS2 come out and succeed!
> If yes, will it be in a multi gaming community or exclusive to NS2?
This isn't really a big issue to me, but more likely than not, I'll be sticking in a multi-gaming community.
> Will you play one side or both sides in NS2?
Who wouldn't want to be that fat little gorgie and that awesome looking marine?
> Will you be in a clan that use voice communication?
This one I cannot compromise on, I need my voice com. Some of my best memories are spent in ventrilo.
Will you join a NS2 Clan?
maybe, but i really dont think i got the time for it :)

i think multigaming clan, but who knows?
Will you play one side or both sides in NS2?
i always prefer the harder ones, so i start marine for warmup and then go alien rest of the evening :)
(with some pauses @the rines :) )
Will you be in a clan that use voice communication?
are there some without? ns without is like wow without internet, isnt it?

No, I won't be joining a competitive clan. I don't like scheduling and generally the time investment required. However, if your definition includes groups of friends, then yes, of course.
And I will definitely play both sides in NS2, but bein a Gorge will likely be my favorite way to play.
You were part of the Euro competetive community?!?!
Wait, what?
I've been playing league matches for the last 10 ENSLs or so if you haven't noticed. Mostly Quaxy, some DU and some short lived lower end clans.
Edit: Joined Quaxy 13 January 2006. I think I've been active for the most seasons from that point on.

I'm in a clan that currently supports NS with our own server and will support NS2 once it's released. I'm actually the Natural Selection Division Leader. We will be getting a server immediately once the game is released
Our clan plays other games, but I can bet you for sure, once NS2 arrives, we will probably have a lot of focus on NS2 for awhile.
I will be playing both sides. We're more of a community.
Of course! We also have our very own mumble server for players to hop on and chat.
Send me a PM if you're interested guys!

Just depends on if i can get back into my NS1 form. Stopped playing around 3 years ago and recent attemps to get back into NS1 have left me feeling like a complete Noob again.

Depends on the above answer but if yes then it doesnt really matter to me if its a multi gaming clan or not as long as they are a good bunch of peeps.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Will you play one side or both sides in NS2?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Both for sure, you cant really say you can play the game unless you can play as both teams and master most/all classes.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Will you be in a clan that use voice communication?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
voice Comms is a must for any clan/guild wanting to co-ordinate and work as a team, so definately yes.

your welcome, Have a nice Day!
Thats my feeling towards gaming as well, and if NS2 is fun competitively I will probably do something like that.
Will definitely like to join a clan that makes the most out of voice.
I don't mind when it comes to community/exclusive. Same goes for single side/both sides.
sP' Shotgun Please for the competitive side.

The only way you could have improved that joke would be to replace sP' with Darwin's Law
I wouldn't care if it was multi-gaming as long as they don't say I have to play other games to stay in the clan(Unlikely, though).
And I'd probably like it if it was an Alien focused clan. But I'm not that bothered by that, either.
And Voice communication, of course.
It's possible to get away with that in MMOs, but not in FPSs.

1. Yes. NS is a game that requires alot of co-ordination so it would be smart to play with a usual core group of players.
2. Depending on how good NS2 turns out I'll probably drop all other games I'm currently playing and focus all my attention on NS2 (assuming its just that good)
3. Both... Why restrict yourself to only half the game?
4. ....obviously? Back to the co-ordination thing... if you want to be good its pretty much necessary
I don't think it necessarily takes more than a few hours a week unless you want to. Getting better at it takes more of course.
