    It's great to see so many of the old guard about... Would bring a tear to my eye, if I had tear ducts. Or eyes.

    I'm assuming the boxed copy will come with some sort of manual, HL2's the only boxed game i've ever bought without one, I think. Based on the general level of quality and attention to detail in NS2 so far, I'm forced to assume that the manual will be a highly advanced example of its kind, whatever form it takes.

    IDK... For me part of the good memories from NS of old (prior to the combat nightmare) was the need to read the manual to understand what the heck was going on. I think that a little complication is OK, just so long as everything flows logically. So I vote for a manual with updated back story, if for nothing else than to give me that warm fuzzy feeling that I once had about NS.

    Now if we can get "theville" to throw up an Alpha server and have a Halloween day reunion of those that are still around from the first release... That would be a good time.

    in game tutorials are much more preferable to manuals these days anyway
