    Been playing since 2003 but never really been a big forum buff...

    Mostly played on YO|clan server as QF/QuickFingers.

    I purchased the SE and am looking forward to getting alpha/beta access and then getting back on populated servers <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

    All these years wasted on MMO's going to take a while to get my aim back I should think!

    I hope all our SE money goes towards insane quantities of coffee - you guys (to the NS team) have been working so long and hard on this series that its a certified WIN, anything such as this is a labour of love and in turn can only be a great success...

    Special Edition. It was an easy choice to make.

    I am sure if you polled everyone that got the SE over the standard they would tell you the reason they did it was because they loved NS1 so much and wanted to support the developers... the black armor and alpha access are just a bonus.

    I got the SE too. Happy to support the guys in this cut throat industry and with all the struggles they went through. Looks like your going to get your "just rewards"!

    So i was curious if this also gave us access to host dedicated servers when it hits alpha then beta or we only get to be playtesters?

    Cant beleive it's already been at least 7 years when i first played this and ran my own server, must be a good 4-5 years since i last touched it... here i am waiting on it like i was a young adult again... I miss this game.

    Good to see some of the players from back in the days post. Been a long time...

    Oh WHY not. I've given entirely too much money to big studios that crap stuff out, I hope this is fun.

    It took that initial video to mostly-convince me that the game wasn't going to fade into vaporware... the whole "building an engine" thing has killed other games, I imagine.     I've never thought about this before, but how do Pre-orders effect the sales rankings of a game? Are pre-orders counted as 0-day purchases from the date of release?

    It sure is! In Germany we pay about 45€ for a new game...that's 63$!

    I got it at soon as I heard about it... I'm poor as hell anyway, but I figure NS is more important than food. Plus it's kinda disrespectful not to, based on how much I raved about NS back in the day.

    Figgured it wouldnt hurt to toss the extra cash their way, so I did. I certainly loved the origional NS back in the day. I doubt I'll be dissapointed with the new one.

    Hell, the special edition is half the price of a normal game here, so that was a easy sell.

    i hope these sums of cash help out making the game the best it can be. i wonder how much they've made as of yet...
