<div class="IPBDescription">If you haven't torn yours out already</div>I searched around on how to disable windows key like 10 years ago, and all I found was some .reg files that only work after you reboot your computer. I actually use my windows key about 100 times a day, just not at all while playing games. I never found any program that would handle it for me, so I quickly wrote some up. It should be possible to remap your windows key so it does something useful, like bdrop rines. These just disable. To re-enable, just close the program.

I have been trying to find a way to rebind my ~ (console) key for years now too.
I have been trying to find a way to rebind my ~ (console) key for years now too.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
just bind it to a different key....
bind X toggleconsole
bind X toggleconsole<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I'm guessing you did not test this. I remember trying this a long time ago and it Ph4il3d! As I recall there was no way to clear the `/~ key so the console still came down. Perhaps an update or two has changed functionality since then so I will try tonight but if it doesn't work... I'm, gonna, um..., well, um..., I'm gonna be upset! and I may just post here with flames of hate.
unbind `
should do it.
I remember this used to be a popular way for dumb admins to grief players (screw up your binds, and unbind `)
it might be that valve locked it in because of that....
I mean, of course you are going to have a problem putting that command INTO the console (what with having to press the toggle console button to do it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />). so copy the line before you launch NS then paste it in.
