Comm chair, cant see anything?

Hey guys, so I just installed NS, I used to play like 5+ years ago and I just wanted to play again, Im a total noob... but I need some help. When I go sit in the comm chair the buttons and stuff is all black, I cant see any of the comm commands, when I go to mouse over them... Anybody help me out with this?

cl_gammaramp 0 or 1 dont remember... setting it will fix it... most likely 0 should fix it as far as i remember
