Going to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia

for three months
I leave tomorrow morning, any tips or suggestions?
places to go, things to see...things not to do (tuk tuk drivers are evil)
Getting pretty excited - I don't really have a plan, it's all fly by the seat of my pants type thing. I'll read the guide book in the plane :P

Buy lots.
edit: Of cheap high-quality musical instruments, I meant... not prostitutes. My roommate went to Thailand last year and came back with two or three nice hand crafted wood instruments.

F= Sure, just one thing you should remember. You can't vaccinate against Aids.

Thats the first thing i thought of at night, especially.

Hell... I get that problem in my apartment at home. Earplugs don't do it, they get uncomfortable if I try to wear them all night. If I leave a radio playing all night though it helps to mask the noises and prevents me from getting woken up by the occasional sirens and rattling trucks.
Constant silence and constant noise are okay. It's when the noise levels keep changing that a good nights sleep is impossible.
If you're in Bangkok:

See the royal palace

See The night/day market

Watch taxi drivers like a hawk

If you're in Phuket:

Avoid most touristy things, they're crap

Beaches are real nice

The sea caves are awesome, they're the exception to the touristy rule

Suits are cheap and good(if you need one), but you'll have to go to the same place multiple times for tailoring

Exactly how it should be done... better still - stash the guidebook and only use it in desperation.
if you go to pai try to trek with perm chai.
Keep away from Ko Samui, Phuket etc.
