    Hi!
Im also new on the forums.
A friend of mine introduced me to NS and although I havn't played it yet. I know I'm going to be hooked.
I mainly play Counter Strike Source or TF2, and watching my friend play NS1 really blew my mind.
Never could I have imagined that a Mod could be so good.

    Make that three.

I've been skulking around (pun intended) for quite a while and I can't help but admire how close knit this community is. Along with game developers who actually care about the customers (I still haven't got a reply for the 1000s of emails I've sent Gabe Newell...)
I look forward to becoming a regular!

It's not fair to say valve doesn't care about their customers because gabe didn't reply to your mail (which he says in his game commentaries that he does read all his mail but can never respond to all of them). It's just not humanely possible for someone in his position to do so. That said, if you compare Valve to EA, Activision, SOE, and a wide range of others, Valve is a leader amongst strong developer-community relations.

You have got a good point. I was actually making an attempt at joke (a poorly thought up one as well). I enjoy many games that Valve makes such as L4D and TF2 so when I thought 'sucsessful company with a recognisable boss' I thought Valve. It may appear that I was attempting to victimise Gabe but it was really because he's the only game developer I know well enough to comment on (I also realise the limits of time and do not expect Gabe Newell to be a super human, of all people).

I'm sorry for any offense. I don't like to get on the wrong start with anyone, even online.
