well, I am going to steal lolf's post from here on out:

Core Rules Destruction: Red Eye Mountain
Core Rules Order: <strike>Skull Throne</strike> Mordheim (I am the only one on here AFAIK)
Open Rules Order: Bechefen

Okay, here's the deal: Let's get everyone on the same server. However, you can't have both Order and Destruction characters on the same server, so we should define two servers, one for each side. Above are my tentative suggestions. Those are Core servers. If there is sufficient demand for it we can define a set of Open RvR servers as well, but I really don't see why anyone would bother with those. Still, the option is there.

    This was discussed with the DiscoGhost and lolfighter on magevent. My suggestion is we base our decisions on server populations during the headstart. I don't have the collector's edition though, so I have to wait a few days.

    The population of Red Eye Mountain seems sufficient for our purposes, though it's got a line at peak hours.

    The population of skull throne is high. Possibly too high. We may need to adjust.

    yah, I was noting that Skull throne was high so I had actually started an order character on a different server.


    Badlands.


    One of the other 3 that are now at capacity....

    I am going to look around and see what might be a better idea.


    I haven't started a Destruction character yet, so I am not exactly attached to Red eye (and for some reason it isn't showing up in the server browser atm...)

    Looking over them I am thinking that possibly we should pick one of the servers that is Low/Low at peak. Thoughts?


    side note:
    Latency is still an issue as servers fill up, I was getting some rather annoying stuttering before dinner tonight.

    So, I suck horribly at picking servers.

    I was going to roll up my first order character on Red Eye to night but the 20 min wait to get in sucks.

    I have a lvl 13 BW sitting on both Badlands and Mordheim due to the server clone. If no one has picked Order servers I would suggest Mordeim now as it looks to be Med/Med.


    Well this SUCKS.

    Their 'grace period' for those of us that ordered online is all of 1 day.

    so I am cut off as of tomorrow morning until my game gets here (shipped today).

    Oh well.

    Quick question:

    Have you played Warhammer yet?

    The majority of the game IS RvR (just with out ganking lowbies). Core simply means that you can't go around ganking lowbies in an area you have no reason to be in in the first place (unless you want to go gank lowbies). Starting at Tier 2 about 30% of the tier is RvR, and it grows from there. Hell, one of my characters is probably going to do nothing but RvR (I want to see what it is like).

    However, feel free to post what Open RvR server you want to play on.

    Open RvR servers are the equivalent of punching random people in the face outside the boxing ring. It's cowardly and it won't get you any closer to the champion belt.

    That's only if you play as an Order character. Us Destruction characters have moral fiber enough not to gank in lowbie areas.

    I had to reroll onto Iron Breaker (Order - Core) for my guild.

    Still having fun though, just got to level...err..rank 10 (lol) on my Witch Hunter. I'm loving stealth and taking out those healers.

    Been thinking of rolling a WH for that reason
    WEs seriously rape my squishy flaming butt, so I figgured it might be fun to do some of the reverse.

    did a bit of it in Nordenwatch and it is surprisingly fun (only like lvl 5, but still).
