    That's work though. Also you can direct link to your Spore page, which is hopefully permanent.

    I modified one of my creatures a bit-

    Using the images as a save file really was a very good idea. It streamlines the process of getting creatures that look cool into your editor. I wonder if it was particularly difficult to get the taskbar icon to eat images you drag over it and launch them in game.

    when I try that, it tells me I can't drop an item onto a button on the taskbar (as usual).     Try putting the editor in windowed mode, then drag the file icon into the window. You may need to have the sporepedia open for this to work.

    Don't click. That was my mistake.
    Just drag the image over the Spore icon and hover it there.

    I just meant that you cant drag it from your browser window to the game directly.

    I don't know if that's possible, but this way other people using your computer might see the images on the desktop and ask about them. Free Spore advertising.
