For me,its the time on ns_nothing when we managed to take 2 hives,turret them up like crazy,get level 3 weaps and armor upgrades,ha and hmgs,the works.I gave pratically everyone ha/hmg/shotgun/gl and welder AND THEY REFUSED TO ATTACK THE CARGO BAY HIVE!Yes thats right.....REFUSED!Half of them kept wondering around,1/4th sat in base,1/4th kept playing stacks in the base.....I finally got 2 people moving towards the cargo bay hive,placed a turret factory there....and they RAN RIGHT PAST IT.I kept giving them the wp to build the factory AND THEY IGNORED IT.Then they ran and tried to knife a bunch of off chambers and wasted their armor,hmgs and welders.
My friends on the alien team were like "OMFG WE STILL HAVE THAT HIVE?!" "roflmao marines suck" "i pity the marine comm....commanding such a team of idiots"
The only reason we won is because the alien team got bored of waiting and pressed f4.
I can understand newbies not shooting accurately,not knowing the best tatic to tackle a fade,etc,etc but THIS is WAY beyond the limits of newbism and idiocy......

We actually 'had' 2 hives early, and secured 1 of them (eclipse). We built up a decent defence (few turrets, phase gate etc.) at the hive. We had a surplus of resources, and we had shot a gorge on the way to the maintenance hive <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->.
Strategic options:
#1 Defend hive, build up tech and siege crawl/whatever. [e.g. armour/weapon/motion tracking]
#2 Push on from eclipse, and take computer core [there were no defensive structures between eclipse and comp core]. (I walked up to the hive as a LMG/no armour marine twice).
#3 Equip half the team with shotguns/hmgs/ha and fight a battle over the horseshoe for half an hour.
The team blackmailed the comm into #3. [and then vote-kicked him <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->]
After 35 minutes we took the horseshoe, 5 minutes after we lost the 3rd hive :O

I took the commanderchair from the start of the game, and we had a steady expansion, taking over a empty hive early in the game. We then proceded to take the other but they had already taken it. So the game was going into some form of stalemate, but after about 1,5 hours we where getting the upper hand in the battles.
Then this guy called "Commander" decided to destroy our only commandchair! I wasnt aware that he was shooting it as i was focused on assaulting the last hive. Then all of a sudden I "plopped" out of the command chair. My first thaught was that i had been voted out, but then i looked around, and saw "Commander" standing there yelling for HA!
Needles to say we lost that match.
Had a great game going, Took a hive no problem, I had a pair of brillant Marines on my team, I made sure they got everything they asked for, That clip of 50 Bullets he asked me to drop? Killed Four skulks with it, then asked for another, Killed two more and a gourge then the pair of them knifed thier way to another Hive when my attention was elsewhere, I came back after they called for ammo agian to see them standing camly in Refinery Room Hive(Ns_Bast) just around the corner well hidden, I wondered how the fork they got thier and drop the console real quick and saw NINE knife kills the two had gotten on thier advance to the hive, I droped them a TF and we killed that Hive
Meanwhile a single Skulk keep eating half the team atmposheric and when I beg the rest of the team to attack feedwater and forget Atomspheric they instead promplety ran past the just upgraded TF I had there and the three unbuilt seiges and instead all five of them died to the skulk who proplety ate the TF and unbuilt turrets and seiges
Meanwhile those two finaly died when a sucidal Gourge built an OT ON THEM and they still manage to kill it and the tower, then the Engine room hive which I though secure died to lurk sniping and they had two hives, meaning suprise suprise Fade, I had already got HA halfway resurched and droped four HMG in the mean time... My good Marines grap thier and went down and guarded the airlock door, when they rushed our main base with five fades through airlock the two of them got them all and survived, I spammed them heath and HA and they went off to take Engine room back while I ordered the rest to go to feedwater
Well apprently they all wanted HMGs and HA and did not want to move till then and voted me out because of my inistantce that they did not NEED HA to take the Skulks at Feedwater and no I would not give them HMG's we barley have any money left from when you fokes lost Atomspheric and no that money I saved up went to fortifing Refinery(Try Two Seperate Phase Gates, Three Turret Factorys, Four Turrets Per Factory + 6 Per Entrance and eight seige cannons scattered about so nothing could be built anywhere even vaugly close, then a foward base in the Tram Car + in the Ship cockpit, They where not getting through anytime soon
Anyway so off my Good marines go they wade through the single Fade at Engine room like he's not even there, I toss a pair of spare CC's in Refinery to be extra sure... Well suffice it to say we did Engine room back and I want to rebuild in Atompsheric and tell my marines as such and I'll give them HA and HMG's AFTER That
Well thats not good enough they vote me out and suprise surpise the next commander Promtely Rescyles everything and the idiots start cussing ME out for doing it(Wait a sec if you vote out a commander how could he hop back in and rescyle everything? Prehaps is the fellow with the name NSPLAYA sitting in the Command Chair right now as the buildings dissapear hmm?)
Then admin shows up ask whats going on and before I can reply some idiot says that I rescyled everything and I'm prometly kicked from the server....
Can't get much worse than that
Actually sounds like a bad plot for a kids movie. The poor commander that everybody picked on. lol.
We were gonna win, my team was filled with idiots, I got ejected from commander, everyone told some other guy to go comm, he was terrible, we lost, the end, lots of commas
We also had 4 heavys assualt the last hive from each side, welding each other and I was dropping the ammo.
SUDDENLY!
Boom, I'm out of the command chair and I was killed by a skulk >.o It didn't tell me that it was under attack! x.x
But since I was playing with such great guys I didn't get chewed out <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Anyways, We lost, slowly, but we still lost.
You know woulden't it make sense that after so many mintues the drop ship would send over another command console?
Been suggested before and loosing the CC is an idiot way to die, I typical drop 2 CC's as soon as victory looks likley to protect me from an idiotic way od dieing
