Problems with client.dll

Hello guys, I'm new in NS, and I'm having problems with the "client.dll".

Everytime, I start HL [1], select "Custom Game", Natural Selection, activate it.
Multiplayer, play on lan, create, ok.

The "Loading" screen appears, followed by a crash [that "Send error report thing"].

I made everything I know to make it work, but nothing! I've searched for topics in this forum but found nothing.

In the "To see whatever we put in the report, click here." I have this:

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->AppName: hl.exe AppVer: 1.1.1.0 ModName: client.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00061427<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

PS:I'm Brazilian and my WINxp is in portuguese. =)

Thank you!

    Seems like you're trying to run the new version of NS from a regular non-steam installation of HL. To run 3.2 you'll need Steam which you can download from www.steampowered.com

    A person called Fascalia wrote a handy guide on installing NS with Steam which you can find <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=89619" target="_blank">here</a>

    Thank you very much! =)
    I'll take a look there.

    EDIT:
    By the way, I saw this:

    Quick rundown:
    You need steam and Half-Life on your steam account!

    You DONT need a Steam account, but the Half-Life is Still requied.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    Without messing with the files you cant run the new version on regular HL (and even then it would only work locally), to have it install propperly and work online you're going to need Steam.
